Carshalton Athletic Under 16 Whites form one of three Under 16 teams at Carshalton Athletic F.C. - Carshalton Athletic F.C. Reds, also Premier Elite, and Carshalton Athletic F.C. Blues, Premier, are the other Under 16 teams. All three teams play in the Surrey Youth League or the SYL.
Last season the Whites played in the Premier Elite division of the Surrey Youth League, after a slow early start to the season the Whites finished comfortably mid table. With all three under 16 teams pulling together as a single year group, we can expect some very exciting things this season as the three teams will be forming an Elite squad made up of 5 of the best in-form players from each team. This new Elite team called 'Carshalton Elite' plan to play other semi-pro / professional academy, Development and Elite teams from around the country.
Under the guidance of Manager/Coach Steve McIntosh, now working together with UAFA B coach Guy Paul, plan to challenge for the league title and also hope to have a successful cup run in both the League cup and the Surrey Cup.
This season the Whites will be playing their football at the highest level again, where they belong and the current team will be made up of a squad of 18 very talented and gifted boys who take their football very seriously, work hard and train with total dedication.
The Whites worked hard without a break through a very tough pre-season and won 2 out of 3 friendlies played, and as mentioned above are looking to do equally as well in the league this season.
The teams home kit colours for the 2015/16 season will be the Carshalton Athletic FC all Red strip of Red Shirt - Red Shorts and Red Socks, while the away 2nd kit colours will be an all Royal Blue Strip.
